About Me

I am qualified teacher of Maths who has been involved in Mathematics Private Tuition in the UK for almost 20 years. I have a huge passion for Maths and aim to instil that passion and love for Mathematics in all my students. I have a First Class Honours Degree in Mathematics from UCL and have made a whole series of maths videos which you can view to see my teaching style. I am very flexible with how I tutor and I offer face to face or online tutoring.

1. PROFESSIONAL SERVICE

I am a fully qualified teacher (PGCE) with a First Class Honours Degree in Maths from UCL. I have also attended multiple training events to further enhance my skills in the provision of a mathematical education to students. I believe it is so important for students to be taught by a qualified teacher who has undergone professional training.

2. FIRST CLASS TECHNOLOGY

If students require online lessons, it will be much more than an invite to a zoom meeting! I have interactive whiteboard software to make the lesson as real as in person. I also have state of the art writing tablets, headsets and audio equipment to make the lesson go smoothly.

3. STUDY PLANS & FREE MOCK SERVICE

Each student’s needs will be assessed on an individual basis and a study plan will be created for them. This involves a detailed timeline setting out what will be covered in the tuition lessons, what extra work the student should perform outside of lessons, and any other useful tips specific to the student for them to perform to the best of their ability.

Also a Mock Service is offered free of charge where tailored mock examinations will be made for the student and given to them as frequently as they desire.

This will be marked and returned with feedback helping the student gauge their development and the student will be guided as to how best to improve.

4. OUT OF HOURS SUPPORT & FREE RESOURCES

Any student registered with Artman Tutors has access to out of hours support, which means that if they have any questions outside of lesson hours, they are more than welcome to contact me in a number of different ways.

This may be some general advice, a worked solution to an exam question they are attempting or specific guidance that they need in between lessons.

Students will also be provided with a wealth of free resources for the level of Maths they are studying to help push them forward and excel in their examinations.

5. IMMENSE CARE FOR EVERY STUDENT

Each student is cared for according to their own needs and I will go out my way to ensure that a student fulfils their potential. I have a very calm, patient and caring personality which puts students totally at ease.

I am passionate about my students having the best experience when studying mathematics, which is why the tuition offered is not just lessons, but a tailored study plan, free resources, mock service as well as regular feedback highlighting their successes as well as the weaker areas they need to focus on.
